2010 Race #8 at Miller Motorsports Park

Dylan gets ready for his 5th race this year. He is number 6x now since there was another boy racing as number 6. Dylan just turned 6 years old. He loves driving fast and is running in the front.

Dylan takes the corner at full throttle. He finished 4 th out of 8 racers.

McKenzie (#51) starts the Main right behind Sophia Price #17 and ahead of Olivia Nish #82. It is the battle of the girls!

They are looking at their kart computers getting ready for the race.

McKenzie has her helmet cam already to go for some awesome race footage. It didn't record for the Main! The card ran out of memory.

Just prior to leaving the pit. They are all anxious to get going. McKenzie was in 10 place to start.

The start was a good one. McKenzie jumped right to 7th place on the start.

After 14 laps she ended up in 10th or 11th. Good job taking the checkered flag.

After the race, she weighs in. She is ten pounds over with no weights on her kart. This is not helping her laps times. She is 11 years old and so next year she'll move up to the Junior 2 class.

She poses with Dylan after the racing is over. They both did well today.
